| The tool, signed F. Roussellot - Paris, is indeed of great beauty and with a well done refinement of its brass parts. It was used in horizontal position and with its compass (still working!) to get measures of angles for the cartographic reliefs (not only with a military purpose, but also for having maps of the fields).
